Maculelê Brazilian Tradicional Maculelê was created by African slave workers on the sugarcane plantation in Northeast Brazil . The dance’s choreography and music is based on the movements and drum rhythms.  The performers do a dance interacting with each other using wooden sticks to symbolize the traditional machetes for safety reasons incorporating dance, fight and acrobatics very unique and exciting. Our Performance use the traditional costume from Brazil.
